This English version of our Cancellation Policy is provided for information only. The legally binding text is the Spanish original, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
At Casa Rural Castalla we understand that plans can change. For that reason, the following cancellation policy applies to direct bookings made by telephone, WhatsApp, email or through our own website:
1. Free cancellation
The booking may be cancelled free of charge up to 31 days before the arrival date.
In that case, any amounts paid up to that point will be refunded to the guest, unless different particular terms have been expressly agreed in writing.
2. Non-refundable cancellation
If the cancellation takes place within the 30 days before the arrival date, the booking will be non-refundable.
In that case, the amounts paid will not be refunded and, where applicable, any outstanding payment may be required in accordance with the confirmed booking.
3. No-show and early departure
If the guest does not arrive on the arrival date without giving prior notice, or decides to leave before the scheduled departure date, no refund will be given.
4. Booking confirmation
An advance payment or deposit towards the total cost of the stay may be requested in order to confirm the booking.
The booking will not be considered definitively confirmed until:
- the owner has expressly accepted the request, and
- the agreed payment or deposit, where applicable, has been received.
5. Provisional bookings made through the website
Requests or provisional bookings made through the website are valid for a maximum of 24 hours, unless a different period is stated.
If the corresponding confirmation or payment is not received within that period, the request may be cancelled automatically and the dates will become available again for other guests.
6. Changes of dates
Requests to change dates are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until they have been expressly confirmed by Casa Rural Castalla.
If the change is requested within the 30 days before arrival, it may be treated as a cancellation subject to the policy set out above.
7. Bookings made through external platforms
Bookings managed through third-party platforms, such as Airbnb, Booking or casasrurales.net, are subject to the cancellation, amendment and refund terms set by those platforms.
8. Cancellation procedure
To cancel a direct booking, the guest must notify us in writing through one of the following channels:

The cancellation will only be deemed to have been made once it has been received and confirmed by Casa Rural Castalla through the same channel or by another written means.
9. Further information
As this is an accommodation service provided on a specific date, the booking is not subject to the general right of withdrawal provided for certain distance contracts.
