Purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These terms govern access to the website, the use of its content and, where applicable, requests for information, contact and the management of bookings relating to Casa Rural Castalla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using this website and\/or making a booking implies acceptance of these terms, without prejudice to any specific terms that may be given to the user in each case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Description of the service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Casa Rural Castalla provides short-stay accommodation in a rural house, on the terms described on this website and in the corresponding booking confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless expressly stated otherwise, the business consists solely of&nbsp;<strong>accommodation<\/strong>, without the hotel-type services such as catering, a permanently staffed reception, daily cleaning or similar services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Booking channels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bookings may be made:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>directly through the website, by telephone, by email or by WhatsApp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>or through third-party platforms, such as Airbnb, Booking, casasrurales.net or similar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Where the booking is made through an external platform, that platform\u2019s own booking, cancellation, payment and privacy terms will also apply. In the event of any discrepancy, the platform\u2019s specific terms will prevail in those matters that fall within its remit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Requests for information and availability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The information published on the website is given as a guide and does not in itself constitute an automatic guarantee of availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Availability or contact requests do not amount to a confirmed booking until the owner has expressly accepted the request and, where applicable, the corresponding payment or deposit has been made through the channel used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Booking confirmation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A booking will be deemed confirmed when the applicable requirements for the booking channel used have been met, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>express confirmation in writing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>validation by the intermediary platform;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>receipt of the agreed payment, in full or in part;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>acceptance of the applicable terms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner may request reasonable additional information before confirming a booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Price and payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The prices that apply will be those shown on the relevant channel at the time of booking or those expressly given to the guest in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For direct bookings, payment may be made by the methods indicated in each case, including bank transfer, cash or other methods accepted by the owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless expressly stated otherwise, the price covers only the accommodation on the terms described for the stay booked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Cancellation policy for direct bookings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following terms apply only to&nbsp;<strong>direct bookings<\/strong>&nbsp;made by telephone, WhatsApp, email or through our own website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.1 Free cancellation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The booking may be cancelled&nbsp;<strong>free of charge up to 31 days before<\/strong>&nbsp;the arrival date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that case, any amounts paid up to that point will be refunded to the guest, unless different specific terms have been expressly agreed in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.2 Non-refundable cancellation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the cancellation is made&nbsp;<strong>within the 30 days before<\/strong>&nbsp;the arrival date, the booking will be&nbsp;<strong>non-refundable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that case, no amounts paid will be refunded and any outstanding payment may be required in accordance with the confirmed booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.3 No-shows and early departure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the guest does not arrive on the arrival date without giving notice, or decides to leave before the scheduled departure date,&nbsp;<strong>no refund will be given<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.4 Provisional bookings made on the website<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests or provisional bookings made through the website are valid for a maximum of&nbsp;<strong>24 hours<\/strong>, unless a different period is stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If confirmation or the corresponding payment is not received within that period, the request may be cancelled automatically and the dates will become available again to other guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.5 Changes of dates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests to change dates are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until expressly confirmed by Casa Rural Castalla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the change is requested&nbsp;<strong>within the 30 days before<\/strong>&nbsp;arrival, it may be treated as a cancellation subject to the policy set out above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Bookings made through external platforms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bookings made through third-party platforms, such as Airbnb, Booking or casasrurales.net, are subject to the&nbsp;<strong>cancellation, change and refund terms<\/strong>&nbsp;set by those platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Check-in, identification and access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Guests must provide, before or on arrival, the identification details required by the applicable legislation on traveller registration (registro de viajeros, the Spanish guest registration duty).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The provision of access instructions, lock codes or entry to the accommodation may be made conditional on that process being completed correctly, where this is required by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner may refuse access or cancel entry if the guest does not provide the mandatory information or fails to meet essential identification or booking requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Check-in and check-out times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The indicative check-in and check-out times are those given with each booking, on the website or in the instructions sent before arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless the owner expressly agrees, early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Rules for using the accommodation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the stay, the guest undertakes to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>respect the maximum authorised occupancy of the accommodation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>use the house and its facilities with due care;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>behave respectfully towards the property, the neighbours and the surrounding area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not carry out any activity that is disruptive, unhygienic, dangerous, unlawful or contrary to good neighbourly relations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not hold unauthorised parties or events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not accommodate more people than those declared in the booking;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>follow the house rules communicated before or during the stay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A serious breach of these rules may lead to the stay being terminated, with no right to a refund of amounts already paid, without prejudice to any legal action or claim for damages that may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13. Guest\u2019s liability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The guest is liable for any damage, breakages, losses or improper use attributable to them or to the people included in their booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the event of damage or breach, the owner may claim the cost of repair, replacement, extra cleaning or the loss caused, by the legally available means and in accordance with the booking channel used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">14. Owner\u2019s liability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner undertakes to make the accommodation available to the guest in a suitable condition for use, in line with the features advertised and with the confirmed booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the owner will not be liable for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>interruptions to third-party services that are outside the owner\u2019s direct control;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>events caused by force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>damage arising from negligent or improper use of the accommodation by the guest;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>loss, theft or items left behind during the stay, unless the law provides otherwise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">15. Lost property<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Items left behind at the accommodation may be kept for a reasonable period. If they are not claimed within that period, they may be disposed of or dealt with at the owner\u2019s discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the guest asks for an item to be returned, the postage or handling costs may be payable by the guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">16. Right of admission and early termination of the stay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner reserves the right to refuse admission or to terminate the stay early, to the extent permitted by law, where any of the following circumstances arise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>failure to provide the mandatory identification;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>false information provided;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>non-payment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>exceeding the maximum number of occupants;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>holding unauthorised parties or activities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>antisocial, dangerous or disruptive behaviour;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>significant damage to the property or a serious breach of these terms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">17. Right of withdrawal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Spanish consumer protection legislation, because this is an accommodation service provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the booking is not subject to the general right of withdrawal that applies to certain distance contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">19. Personal data protection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal data provided in connection with a booking, a stay or the use of the website will be processed in accordance with the&nbsp;<strong>Privacy Policy<\/strong>&nbsp;and, where applicable, the&nbsp;<strong>Cookie Policy<\/strong>&nbsp;published on this website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">20. Intellectual property of the website<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All the content on the website, including text, images, photographs, design, structure and any other elements, is protected by the corresponding rights and may not be used without authorisation, except where the law permits it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">21. Changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner may update these terms at any time by publishing the current version on the website.
